About Us

The Beach House was very much the “renovator’s delight” when we purchased it, however the stunning views, large yard and shady peppermint trees won us over.  Over the past few years we have painted, extended, weeded (and more) over countless weekends to create a relaxing holiday home.

From soaking up the sun in summer to snuggling by the fire in winter watching the storm clouds roll in, our family has enjoyed many relaxing holidays here.  A house for all seasons, we always look forward to our weekends away on the coast to rejuvenate the soul.

Shoalwater offers the best of both worlds.  Close enough to Perth for a quick “weekender” it captures the laidback, seaside feel of the summer holidays we remember as children.  We hope our children, Amelie and Daniel, enjoy similar memories in their adult years.  On those occasions we want a change of pace all of the facilities offered by the City of Rockingham, shopping, cafes, movie theatres, etc are only a short drive away.
